The Town is located in the interior of Newfoundland art the end of highway Route 370 which branches off the Trans Canada Highway at Badger. Buchans is located between two major airports (Gander International Airport and Deer Lake Regional Airport), both located within an approximate two (2) hour drive. Grand Falls-Windsor is the closest major regional centre, an estimated one (1) hour drive.
